The WTA Suppliers Conference is one of the strongest, hardest working allied membership groups in the United States, facilitating convention functions, providing multiple scholarships each year and assisting in the political fund-raising activities of the Washington trucking industry. The Suppliers Conference has its own officers and board of directors and all members are welcome to attend any board meeting.

Improved Sales
Membership in the Suppliers Conference of the Washington Trucking Associations provides a ready-made market for your goods or services. Trucking company members of the Association do business with Supplier Conference members. Your membership in the Conference opens the necessary doors for your salespeople to effectively utilize their time with the trucking industry members who buy your goods or services, thereby eliminating the hit and miss door-to-door sales.

Opportunities for Personal Contact
The WTA has over 250 meetings throughout the State of Washington each year giving your representatives the opportunity to meet, on an individual basis, members of the trucking industry who, on a daily basis, make use of your services and products. These meetings also allow your company representatives to keep abreast of the changes in the trucking industry that may very well affect your business.

Medical Insurance
The Washington Trucking Associations has an excellent group of medical programs covering medical, dental and vision designed specifically for the members of the trucking industry and providing special attention to companies whose size would not normally allow them to take advantage of very favorable group rates.

Legislative Program
The Washington Trucking Associations has a professional lobbyist who addresses the legislative needs of the trucking industry and its allied members on a full-time basis. Our lobbying efforts encourage the passage of legislation which is good for your business and discourages the passage or changes in legislation that could be detrimental to your profit picture.

Public Relations
Washington Trucking Associations was established in 1922, making it the oldest state associations in existence. The staff has forged many long term relationships with members of state and local government. These contacts may prove useful when you need a quick answer to an important regulatory question. The WTA helps promote the image of the trucking industry through programs that stimulate awareness of the industry's achievements and contributions. We can also help in providing films, speeches and press releases for your company's use.

Annual Conventions
The Washington Trucking Associations has one major convention a year, the WTA Leadership Conference & Exhibition. This convention draws together industry members and, in cooperation with the Suppliers Conference, allow Conference members an opportunity to once again make members of the trucking industry aware of your goods and services during each convention's Supplier Conference hosted evening.

Scholarship Program
The Suppliers Conference administers a student Scholarship Program for deserving WTA members and their immediate family members wishing to pursue studies at an accredited University or Vocational School. Proceeds from annual golf tournaments sponsored by the Suppliers Conference help support the Scholarship Program.
